That Forgotten Word "Survey"

Often an analyst's actions to identify what should be developed consist of communication with customers and users of the future system: interviews, questionnaires, focus group descriptions. And then, during the period of development and even operation, the understanding of the system changes, sometimes significantly.

There are ways and methods to enhance and sometimes fundamentally change the results of communication. At the early stages, to understand what kind of system will bring real benefit to key stakeholders. I will tell you about these ways and methods and my approach to the survey, based on my experience of developing IT systems for large and medium-sized industrial enterprises and fintech.
